The Wellington Convention Centre adds another star to its Qualmark rating. Proud to announce that they now hold a 5-star Qualmark rating for the Michael Fowler Centre and the Wellington Town Hall - making it the only Convention Centre in New Zealand to reach this level of quality certification. 

Qualmark is New Zealand tourism's official mark of quality and requires participants to be independently assessed, using criteria indentified as important to venue customers. The Qualmark standard represents commitment to providing a quality experience for clients.

"We pride ourselves on being able to offer a high quality level of service and encourage all areas of our business to strive for excellence" says Neville Brown, General Manager of the Wellington Convention Centre. "Our becoming a 5-star venue is a credit to the dedication of our staff towards being the best that we could possibly be".

The TSB Bank Arena which is also managed by the Wellington Convention Centre had its rating promoted to a 4-Star plus venue as a result of the work undertaken during the refurbishment completed in mid 2008.
