The Council provides nearly 3 million dollars annual funding as part of the Annual Plan in order to meet identified needs within the Wellington City community. In addition to grants funded by rates, some funds from other sources (such as bequests) are also administered by the Council. Each fund has specific criteria.
Note:
- Closing dates and grant values are subject to change.
- Current application forms are available about six weeks before the grant's closing date.
- Completed applications must be received by the grants officer by 5.00pm on the closing date.
